背景技術(shù):
對于以低的比特率壓縮的視頻流的解碼通常產(chǎn)生對于觀眾來說可以察覺的可視偽像。塊狀和結(jié)構(gòu)化的噪聲模式是在使用基于塊的壓縮技術(shù)時出現(xiàn)的常見的偽像。人類的視覺系統(tǒng)對于某種類型的偽像具有較大的敏感性,因此,這種偽像看起來更加容易察覺并且比其它偽像更令人討厭。向解碼的流添加隨機(jī)噪聲能夠降低這種壓縮偽像的可察覺性。但是通過添加隨機(jī)噪聲產(chǎn)生的較大的幀-對-幀的區(qū)別(frame-to-frame difference)本身能產(chǎn)生看起來可察覺和令人討厭的偽像。
添加抖動(dither)信號能夠降低人類對于圖像偽像的敏感度,例如隱藏輪廓(contouring)和阻擋(blocking)偽像。一種現(xiàn)有技術(shù)提出向圖像添加基于膠片顆粒的隨機(jī)噪聲抖動來掩蓋塊效應(yīng)。用于添加這種隨機(jī)噪聲的基本原理在于隨機(jī)錯誤和結(jié)構(gòu)化或相互關(guān)聯(lián)的錯誤相對具有較大的可寬容性。其它的現(xiàn)有技術(shù)提出了向視頻流添加抖動信號來隱藏壓縮偽像。一種現(xiàn)有技術(shù)提出了對于用于ITU/ISO H.264視頻編碼標(biāo)準(zhǔn),即,通常被稱作JVT編碼標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的環(huán)路解塊濾波器(deblocking filter)中的視頻編碼和解碼處理中添加隨機(jī)噪聲抖動。要添加的抖動的量取決于像素相對于塊邊緣的位置。另一種現(xiàn)有技術(shù)提出了向視頻解碼添加隨后的隨機(jī)噪聲(即,添加噪聲作為“后處理”(postprocess)),以用作舒適噪聲。添加的噪聲的量取決于量化參數(shù)以及添加給空間上相鄰像素的噪聲的量。術(shù)語“舒適噪聲”來自音頻壓縮中對噪聲的使用,以表示在接收機(jī)端產(chǎn)生的噪聲模式來避免對于收聽者不舒適的完全的寂靜。
以前的舒適噪聲添加技術(shù)雖然有效,但是未能提供對于舒適噪聲的添加以及要添加的噪聲級的所期望的控制水平。
發(fā)明內(nèi)容
簡單地說,根據(jù)本原理的一個優(yōu)選實施例,提供了一種用于在視頻圖像中減少偽像的技術(shù)。該方法著手于對于伴隨視頻圖像的輔助信息的接收。輔助信息包括至少一個指定用于添加到視頻圖像的舒適噪聲的屬性。臨時相關(guān)的舒適噪聲被產(chǎn)生,并隨后根據(jù)在所述輔助信息中的至少一個參數(shù)被添加到圖像中。
圖1描繪了根據(jù)本原理的用于產(chǎn)生與圖像塊的處理相關(guān)的舒適噪聲的裝置;和圖2描繪了用于和圖1的裝置一起使用的用于在逐像素的基礎(chǔ)上添加舒適噪聲的裝置。
具體實施例方式
根據(jù)本原理,向圖像添加舒適噪聲起到了隱藏壓縮偽像的作用。為了便利根據(jù)本原理的舒適噪聲添加,伴隨視頻圖像的輔助信息包含指定與舒適噪聲屬性有關(guān)的至少一個參數(shù)。通常,輔助信息包括用于開啟和關(guān)閉舒適噪聲,以及基于所期望的壓縮偽像的水平表示所要添加的噪聲級的參數(shù)。
在所說明的實施例中,視頻圖像通常經(jīng)過根據(jù)H.264視頻壓縮標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的壓縮。因此,包含至少一個舒適噪聲參數(shù)的輔助信息由一個注冊的用戶數(shù)據(jù)輔助增強(qiáng)信息(SEI)消息來承載。
舒適噪聲SEI消息注冊用戶數(shù)據(jù)SEI消息的使用起到表示舒適噪聲的使用的作用。該消息應(yīng)用于所有跟隨其的畫面(picture)直到IDR畫面或新的舒適噪聲或膠片顆粒(film grain)SEI消息來臨。舒適噪聲SEI消息只能出現(xiàn)在I畫面前,并且在特定的I畫面前只能出現(xiàn)一個舒適噪聲SEI消息。I畫面由等于7的slice_type,或由等于5的nal_ref_idc來表示。下面的表1列出了和舒適噪聲相關(guān)的SEI消息元素表1
comfort_noise_flag等于1表示使用了舒適噪聲添加。

comfort_noise_qp_offset_idc表示在計算添加舒適噪聲級的計算中使用的量化參數(shù)偏移,并且該值的范圍可以為從-51到52。

舒適噪聲的比特-精確實現(xiàn)根據(jù)本原理的舒適噪聲的添加涉及在視頻圖像的塊級(block level)的某種操作,以及在視頻圖像的像素級(pixel level)執(zhí)行的操作。
塊級操作圖1描繪了根據(jù)本原理的一個說明性實施例的用于執(zhí)行對于控制舒適噪聲添加的三個噪聲值術(shù)語W0、W1和Wf的相關(guān)加權(quán)計算的8x8亮度(luma)像素塊的操作的裝置300。圖1的裝置300包括處理塊302,其從舒適噪聲SEI消息接收解碼的亮度像素、畫面QP=(pic_init_qp_minus26+26)以及comfort_noise_qp_offset_idc和comfort_noise_qp_weight_offset_idc參數(shù)。術(shù)語t表示當(dāng)前的畫面號,其在舒適噪聲SEI消息后的I畫面被重置到0。

對于標(biāo)準(zhǔn)清晰度(SD)或更低的電視分辨率,所有的像素和塊操作使用顯示分辨率來發(fā)生。對于高清晰度分辨率,塊操作使用2x2子-采樣像素(即,使用每個2x2塊的左上方像素)來發(fā)生,因此8x8亮度像素平均涉及添加8x8=64像素值,但是這些值被分散在16x16像素的范圍。對于SD分辨率,對于整個畫面的block_avg(t)的存儲需要幀存儲大小的1/64的存儲。而對于HD(高清晰度)分辨率,存儲block_avg(t)的值需要幀存儲大小的1/256的存儲容量。
第一查找表(LUT)312從閾值比較器305和310接收block_sum_level和block_absdiff_level,使用這些值來找到三個子-噪聲值sw0、sw1和swf,其將在隨后詳述,經(jīng)過由通過第二查找表314所產(chǎn)生的縮放因子Wq的縮放,以產(chǎn)生噪聲值w0、w1和wf。表2描繪了在block_sum_level和block_absdiff_level之間的關(guān)系,以及由查找表312提供的子-噪音值sw0、sw1和swf。
